About the Orson H. Gygi Company

In 1945 an experienced and successful salesman, Orson H. Gygi, founded the Orson H. Gygi Company. A family owned and operated restaurant wholesale and kitchen supply store in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Over the years the Orson H. Gygi Company has remained family owned and operated. Even today the company is overseen and run by Orson’s grandson Brad McDonald, General Manager. Although originally a restaurant wholesale and kitchen supply store, Gygi has expanded into areas such as kitchen design innovations, a one-stop specialty culinary supply retail outlet and now a state of the art Gygi.com website to serve its ever growing customer base.

Our objective with maintaining a state of the art website is to, first and foremost, better be able to serve our customer's needs.  We hope to build and develop community unity through several offerings like providing the necessary tools to create your culinary masterpiece.  We would also like to provide the necessary know-how along the way.

As you continue your patronage with Orson H. Gygi Company, it is our goal to obtain your confidence and satisfaction. 2nd Annual Chocolate Extravaganza...

It is preliminarily on the calendar for November 18th & 19th, 2011 for the 2nd Annual Gygi Chocolate Extravaganza.  This year will prove to be even better than last!  We will have live chocolate demonstrations and of course tasting of all kinds.  Be sure to put the event on your calendar and be sure to attend.  We look forward to seeing you all there.
