Chocolate Measurements at Gygi.com

Chocolate:

The following measurements are based on 1 (one) 5 lb. bag of melting chocolate.

  • Chocolate Covered Strawberries: 5 lb. bag of chocolate will cover approximately 40 medium sized strawberries.

    Popcorn Measurements at Gygi.com

     

    Popcorn:

  • 1 oz. (by weight, not fluid ounces) of raw popcorn will yield 32 oz. (one quart) of popped popcorn.
  • 1 50# bag of popcorn seed will yield approximately 800 1 oz. (one ounce) servings.
  • 1 Case (36 Packages) of 6 oz. Mega Pop Kits #2836 will yield aprroximately 216 one ounce servings.
  • 1 Case (24 Packages) of 8 oz. Mega Pop Kits #2838 will yield aprroximately 192 one ounce servings.

    Cotton Candy:

  • 1 oz. (one ounce) of Flossugar will yield approximately one serving or one cone of cotton candy.
  • One .5 Gallon carton of Flossugar will yield approximately 50-70 servings, depending on the operator.
  • 1 - 2 Tablespoons of Flossine should be used per 10# of sugar in mixing.  
  • Just a note: A coarse sugar (like Flossugar) is better to use than "table sugar".

    SnoKone:

  • 1 Gallon of RTU (Ready-To-Use) syrup will yield approximately 60 - 70 servings.
  • 1 Package of EZ Concentrate + 5 1/2# of sugar will yield 1 gallon of RTU syrup.
  • 1 Case (10 Packages) of EZ Concentrate + sugar will yield 10 gallons of RTU syrup.
  • 1 Quart of liquid concentrate syrup will yield approximately 8 gallons of RTU syrup.
