A high value reference publication with outstanding quality

Gygi has professionally produced the first installment of a series of texts for foodies?

Some particulars: there are 78 pages of decent approximately 5 point matte printing stock with a moderate book-like feel. This first issue dives into four broad topics: whisking, chocolate, fondues, and towels. Minor topics flow from main ones, such as the different forms of liquid dairy and how to whisk them into shape.

The book is about practical utility. The Gygi blog articles are leveraged and expanded to produce content. Photography is top notch but doesn't overwhelm instruction.

It was very refreshing to not be presented with a written infomercial. Gygi has chosen not to 'monetize' their work via outside advertising.
Volume 1 will quickly morph a tyro into a cinnamon roll guru, whisking wizard, chocolate chanyu, and fondue oracle. Plus teach you how to clean up the mess stuck to the walls. It isn't a recipe book, but many recipes are included for the above plus other goodies.
