Shipping & Delivery

All orders placed on Orson H. Gygi Company (Gygi.com) are shipped via FedEx and USPS to ensure fast and reliable delivery service. Standard shipping rates are calculated based on the destination location and the packed weight of the order. All orders will be processed on the next business day. In the event that we are out of stock on an item we will contact you via email or text to the address or phone on the order. If we do not get a response within one business day we will send the order minus the out of stock items and credit the cost of the item(s) and shipping of that item. Once an order ships we will send tracking information to the customer to ensure the order is able to be tracked. The tracking information will be sent to the email address on the order. Gygi.com is not responsible for any delays in shipment that are out of our control. i.e. adverse weather delays, third party (USPS or FedEx) delays and/or errors. We highly recommend expedited shipping and Cold Packs with all perishable items being shipped. This includes but is not limited to: Perfect Puree products, Pastry Pride, all chocolate products and all other perishable items that could negatively be affected by warm weather. The Orson H. Gygi Company is not responsible for any items that are effected by shipping during hot weather. The responsibility of adding cold packs and expedited shipping falls upon the individual who places the order. We also cannot guarantee that any of the 10 and 11 pound chocolate bars will arrive in one piece. The majority of the 10 and 11 pound chocolate bars will NOT arrive to you in one piece. Please notify Customer Service within 24 hours of delivery of your order with any damage reports and/or errors by emailing Info@gygi.com. Gygi.com is not responsible for address correction costs from the shipping company. All shipping charges will be charged to the payment method used on the order. Inventory Discrepancies

At the Orson H. Gygi Company we warehouse over 30,000 items to offer our customers the broadest selection available. We employ a sophisticated inventory management system to account for all products. However, at times there are small discrepancies with a product or quantity of a product you order. If this happens to be the case, we will notify you via email of the options with your specific case and await your response before completing your order. If we have not received a response within 1-business day of our initial correspondence we will remove the item(s) in question, credit your account for the item and the shipping for those items, and ship the order as is. Chocolate Warm Weather Shipping

At Gygi.com we make every effort possible to ensure that your chocolate and other food items arrive in the best possible condition. However, due to temperature variations across the country that are out of our control, we cannot guarantee the unmelted or melted status of chocolate products that are shipped during the warm months. We encourage expedited shipping options to help minimize the risk of melting issues. In most cases our chocolate is used for the purpose of confectionery creations and is melted down to use anyway and this is not a large issue. In an effort to accomplish this goal we operate a 100% PCI Compliant website. We process all transactions through a third party, highly reputable and secure credit card processor. We never keep any personal or credit card information on file in our system. Our website also is current with all SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Certificate requirements and can be verified through a link in your individual web browser. Returns & Exchanges

We realize the reason that our company has been in business for over 60 years is because of our customers! It is our customers we strive to give complete satisfaction to with every product purchased from us. Please review a few of our policies that will help you better understand how we accomplish customer satisfaction at Gygi.com. For any errors in your order fulfillment or damaged items that have been received you must contact us within 2 business days of receiving your order. Any reports of this nature received after 2 business days, Gygi.com reserved the right to handle each inquiry on a case-by-case basis. Product may be returned and/or exchanged ONLY within 10 business days of receiving the product. Absolutely NO items will be accepted for return and/or exchange without Return Authorization (RA). Please email us at info@gygi.com to obtain a Return Authorization number. Include in the email your order number, reason for return/exchange, name and contact information. It is the responsibility of the customer to incur any and all return/exchange shipping costs. Copies of the original sales invoice or order confirmation must accompany any items returned to Gygi.com.
